21 Soho is London’s top comedy club hosting stand-up comedy, live podcasts and music in the heart of Soho, and is known for hosting some of the UK's most talented stand-up performers. With limited in-house seating, particularly for their headline shows, they needed a way to bring their performances to wider online audiences without compromising on quality or atmosphere.
That's when we partnered up.
For one particularly meaningful event - 'Stand Up with Women!', organised by ActionAid UK and Latitude Festival - the stakes were even higher. All proceeds went directly to ActionAid's vital work ending violence and fighting poverty, helping women everywhere create the future they want. Getting the livestream right wasn't just about technical delivery. It was about amplifying impact.
From streaming comedians like Jo Brand and Shazia Mirza to a live audience in the room and hundreds more watching online, we worked alongside 21 Soho's in-house team to ensure every moment translated beautifully to the screen.

21 Soho needed a partner who could slot seamlessly into their existing setup, work with their in-house tech team, and deliver professional livestreams under pressure - without disrupting the live experience for the audience in the room.
Their vision required:
Comedy is fast-paced, unpredictable, and thrives on energy. Online audiences are easily distracted, so the stream had to be as engaging as being there in person. From our first conversation, we knew this wasn't just about pointing cameras and pressing record. It was about understanding the rhythm of live comedy, anticipating moments that needed emphasis, and keeping viewers locked in - especially during breaks.
When you're working with a venue that has its own established processes and equipment, the worst thing you can do is show up and try to take over. Our approach is simple: we become part of their team.
We took the time to understand how 21 Soho operates, how their in-house crew works, and where we could add value without disrupting their flow. On the day, that meant working hand-in-hand with their team, using their equipment where appropriate, and staying flexible as the event unfolded.
And we made sure our team was well looked after throughout. Long event days mean high pressure, and we believe supported, well-rested creative professionals deliver better results for everyone.

Event days for us start with an equipment test, followed by a meeting with the client and a full test run-through before doors open. This gives everyone - venue staff, our team, and the client - confidence that when the lights go down and the comedians step on stage, everything will run smoothly.
As the performances kicked off, our team managed:
The comedians delivered. The audience laughed. And the stream? It ran without a hitch.
After the final act wrapped, we conducted a smooth derig and headed out - leaving the venue exactly as we found it.
The events received fantastic feedback from viewers, the client, and the venue team alike.
The team kindly shared that our support has allowed them to get their message out to new and existing supporters, and raise a significant amount of money.
For 'Stand Up with Women!' in particular, being able to extend the reach of the event meant more funds raised for ActionAid - and more impact for the women and communities they support. That's the kind of work that reminds us why we do this.
We're always excited to work with venues like 21 Soho - spaces that are doing meaningful work and need a production partner who can enhance what they're already building. When it's for a good cause? Even better.
Whether it's a sold-out comedy night, a charity fundraiser, or a corporate conference, we bring the same attention to detail, calm under pressure, and collaborative spirit to every project.
