We started SJARK because the industry needed something different.
Our founding story
December 2020. Lasse and Sean met while livestreaming a classical concert and ended up in a late-night cab conversation that neither of them could let go of.
Both had spent years working inside London's creative events ecosystem. They had seen what great production looked like, and they'd seen what it looked like when the wrong team showed up.
They knew clients deserved a calmer, more committed partner and they knew the freelancers delivering these events deserved better support too.
Five years later, that conversation is SJARK.

We're building a production company where the client always has a calm, committed partner in their corner and where every person on the team is truly supported to do their best work. When both sides of that equation are right, the events speak for themselves.

Meet our founders
Sean Arkless
A Musical Theatre graduate turned internationally touring sound engineer, Sean has built his career across venue production management and freelance event work including working with TikTok, Dalmore or Columbo Group. He brings a performer's instinct for what the audience feels to every production SJARK delivers.
